Love Your Poison, as part of MelBorn reBorn, by Melbourne Writers' Theatre 2010

A play about dealing with a difficult choice; about whether life or death is the braver option, and how fair each choice is for everyone involved.
Most of us are aware of the times when memory melds into the present. Sometimes it is so strong that the past collides with what we think is happening, informing what we do and say to the people around us.
So when Rose begins to face the idea of death sooner than she expected, the past and present arrive together in interesting and heartbreaking ways.

REVIEWS

'Emily Collett’s stage design was simple and elegant and very effective with its use of liminal portals'
Frances Devlin-Glass for 3CR

‘The actors are supported by Emily Collett’s deceptively simple, yet symbolic set, inspired by the very architecture of the Carlton Courthouse Theatre.’
